Appetizers will be served, and wine will be available for purchase. A short meeting will be followed by “The 12-Step Opera” aka "Crazy Opera Dream" an original comic presentation by Denver vocal artist, Imelda Franklin Bogue. About the program:

Contralto Imelda Franklin Bogue sings Mama McCourt in The Ballad of Baby Doe with Loveland Opera in October of 2023. Recent engagements include Erda and Waltraute with Boulder Opera’s Opera in the Park, a cover of Azucena in Il Trovatore with Boulder Opera, Mrs. Sedley in Peter Grimes with Madison Lyric Stage, Herodias in Salome with MLS, and the Third Lady in The Magic Flute with Opera Fort Collins.

On the concert stage, Ms. Bogue has been heard in Handel’s Messiah, Bach’s St. Matthew Passion, Beethoven’s Ninth Symphony, and Pergolesi’s Stabat Mater. Honors include the Metropolitan Opera National Council Auditions (Regional Finalist). Ms. Bogue wrote Crazy Opera Dream to amuse herself in 2020 and the show was presented in 2022 by the Denver Fringe Festival, Opera Fort Collins, and Christendom College.

Her program with Pikes Peak Opera League will be a performance of her original comic presentation of The 12-Step Opera aka Crazy Opera Dream.
